Palestinian Conference on Modern Trends in Mathematics and Physics II Nablus, 2-4 August 2010

The Palestinian Conference on Modern Trends in Mathematics and Physics II (PCMTMP II), which is sponsored by An-Najah National University, International Union of Pure and Applied Physics and Islamic Arab Bank, will be held in Nablus, Palestine, during the period 2-4 August, 2010.

PCMTMP II is the second conference in a series of conferences initiated by the UNESCO Chair in Mathematics and Theoretical Physics at Birzeit University. These conferences will be held every two years, with each conference held at a different Palestinian university. The first PCMTMP conference was held at Birzeit University  in July 28 -30, 2008.

The PCMTMP II aims at bringing together the local and international researchers, scientists, engineers, and scholars who are interested in all topics of physics and mathematics. PCMTMP II aims also to provide an international forum for the dissemination of original research results, new ideas and practical development experiences which concentrate on both theory and practices. In addition, it aims to expose the graduate students, in physics and mathematics, to current research activities and also to present their own research work. Moreover, the conference aims to discuss the scientific research program development in mathematics and physics in Palestine and neighboring Arab countries.
